The German TV premiere of Akkord’s ‘Ben Hur’ delivered the highest market share (13.7% of 14-49 year olds) of all scripted primetime programming Friday night to a happy broadcaster, ProSieben. This is several percent higher than the average market share of ProSieben’s Friday ‘blockbuster’ slot. ‘Ben Hur’ was also the night’s #1 among the male target audience with a “very good market share”, according to German trade publication quotenmeter.de.
