Akkord’s international event TV production Ben Hur directed by #1 US box-office director Steve Shill wrapped production this summer in Morocco. International TV partners are Sony Pictures TV, ProSieben, ABC, CBC and Antena 3. Producer Dirk Beinhold helped develop and finance the project along with other producers such as David Wyler, son of William Wyler who directed the classic in 1959. The timeless epic about friendship, revenge and foregiveness stars young actors such as Joseph Morgan, Stephen Campbell Moore, Emily van Camp and Kristen Kreuk as well as Ray Winstone, Alex Kingston, James Faulkner, Hugh Bonneville and Ben Cross.
